Lifehacking TIP: surround yourself with inspiring people

Updated: Sep 29, 2023

How do I keep myself and my energy levels balanced? How do I stay passionately committed to my goals? How do I maintain my positive mindset?

Poignant questions, which I like to answer with one of the most useful tips that I very much enjoy applying myself: surround yourself with #inspiringpeople!

By spending time with (in your opinion) worthy and wise people, you unconsciously adopt their thinking patterns and behaviors. So surround yourself as much as possible with inspiring examples, role models and mentors.

Thanks to these sources of inspiration, I work every day to become a better version of myself: they give me energy, ensure that I cultivate a positive mindset and help me move forward with a lot of (com)passion, humor and confidence in the sometimes tricky pitfalls of life, both privately and while doing business.

inspirer #1 - Jessica De Waele of Strong People

WEBSITE | Strong People

As an introvert and highly sensitive generalist, you do have certain challenges in life. 😁 Jessica from STRONG PEOPLE transformed my limiting thoughts into talents that I now use daily in my job and in my life in general. Every once in a while you just need a magnificent coach or someone to set you on your path. Do you? Then be sure to take a look at her website and be surprised by her coaching super powers, be inspired by her blog or take an inspiring course at the Strong People Academy!

inspirer #2 - Peter Piccard of Engenius

Peter is a very inspiring and inspired entrepreneur and one of the founders of Engenius. I know him as a positive, warm man who connects people with a lot of passion and humor and also loves to share his experience and life lessons. From the "drier" topics like accounting to the more technical topics like building trends and even the empowering topics like mental resilience: you'll find it all in his podcast. Need an energy boost? Then be sure to listen to his podcast!

"We entrepreneurs are loners, vagabonds, troublemakers. Success is simply a matter of finding and surrounding ourselves with those open-minded and clever souls who can take our insanity and put it to good use." – Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop

inspirer #3 - Sarah of Sarahmedia

Sarah is the specialist in content creation and creative storytelling/copywriting on Instagram. She helped me tremendously in setting up my Instagram, made me think about my approach and social media plan and inspires me daily with her positive, pink 😁 and funny posts. Also need an Insta plan or Social Media Manager? Then contact Sarah on Instagram (@sarahmedia.be).

inspirer #4 - Jose Maria (Chema) Lopez of Leads to Success

LINKEDIN | Leads to Success

Together with Sarah Lin, Chema has shaped a website and blog specializing in marketing and sales and, more specifically, aligning the two. What immediately appealed to me about their vision and approach is that they want to help companies do business in a more meaningful and human way. Chema's advice opened my world and put me in discovery and action mode with their strong project. Do you also want to generate more leads and achieve your business goals more easily as a result? Then be sure to follow Leads to Success's LinkedIn posts or get inspired by the Leads to Success Blog full of useful tips & tricks and brain-teasing reading!

inspirer #5 - Team Creapills

LINKEDIN | Creapills

With her creative and mind-changing posts on LinkedIn, team Creapills very often puts a smile (and sometimes even a roar) on my face. These marketing and communications creatives let you discover the world in a different (read: more fun) way, and let it be just this, teaching you a more positive attitude and often arriving at a more creative solution to many of your challenges. Follow them! 😁

With a big thank you to Loïc Brelot, who inspired me to discover Creapills.

Ready, set, go! You've got this!
